Defibrillators - Charity Donation

NewsCHoICE Ltd formally handed over 15 new state-of-the-art defibrillators bought through a generous charitable donation, made to the Trust.  In total 11 Philips XL+ and 4 Philips FR3 new defibrillators are now available to City Hospitals Sunderland staff for use in an emergency situation.

Paul Robinson, Director of Finance at CHoiCE presented the defibrillators to Heidi Morgan, Assistant Resuscitation Officer and said: “I am pleased City hospitals Sunderland are able to accept our charitable donation and has chosen to upgrade their defibrillators in order to give patients in cardiac arrest the best possible chances to survive.”

CHoICE Ltd was established in 2014 and currently employs over 300 staff in the provision of quality Pharmacy Services and a Managed Healthcare Facility to City Hospitals Sunderland.
