CHoICE is structured as a unified Board with three component Business Units
The Pharmacy Business Unit went live in 2014, providing Pharmacy Services out of three registered pharmacies, the flagship unit being robotic enabled.A home delivery service is offered for the convenience of our customer’s patients.
The Facilities Services Business Unit came into existence on 1st February 2017 to provide the Hard and Soft FM services within a Managed Healthcare Facility Offering.We are contacted to provide services to three healthcare sites in the Sunderland Area and one hospital in the Durham Area.
Lastly the Procurement Business Unit was established on 1st December 2017.The business unit comprises of Contracting, Purchasing and Materials Management teams who collectively transact the acquisition of over £10m of goods and services per annum plus purchase capital items as required.
A procurement consultancy service is also offered, initially to the NHS.
