Employee of the Month August 2019

We are delighted to inform you that Jean Smith, who works as a domestic has been chosen for City Hospitals Independent Commercial Enterprises Ltd (CHoICE) Employee of the Month for August 2019.

We received the following feedback regarding Jean:

“While on the ward, two patients informed me how Jean always goes above and beyond for the patients.  They were full of praise for Jean and could not speak highly enough of her, providing milk, milky drinks and snacks whenever requested.  In their words “they feel quite spoilt by Jean”.

"I have worked on C36 for many years and have always found Jean to be extremely helpful and vigilant regarding what the patients are eating and drinking, which is extremely helpful from a diabetic point of view.  I will regularly ask Jean what a patient has had from a snack point of view if the patient is unable to recall this information.  I feel Jean is a huge asset to Ward C36".

CHoICE would like to take this opportunity to thank Jean for her excellent work and the valuable contribution she has made to our organisation.
