Employee of the month July 2020 - Emma Boxer

I am delighted to inform you that Emma Boxer has been selected as the City Hospitals Independent Commercial Enterprises Ltd (CHoICE) employee of the month for July 2020.  The particular feedback received in relation to Emma's dedicated approach from a member of the public is:

 “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to a member of your pharmaceutical team named Emma at choice pharmacy, Sunderland royal hospital.

She has shown commitment, kindness & an excellent service to myself on behalf of my new baby, Teddy recently.

My family & I are very grateful for the time she has taken to follow up my concerns with a prescription. In these challenging times we have struggled for weeks to have any medical person listen to us & see our baby son. Emma made it her job to ensure I was given the correct medical support & spent time following up with prescriptions to ensure we were given what we need.

Over several phone calls Emma even offered to be my point of contact if I needed any more help, even offering advice. She has shown a willingness to help & a dedication to her role & the NHS. As a mother with a sick child I was reassured to have someone listen to me & offer advice.”
